Tanoa Sasraku‘O’ Pierrot’, 2019

Tanoa Sasraku’s 2019 film ‘O’ Pierrot’ will be on view at Two Queens Gallery and Studio in Leicester 25 February - 11 March 2023. Through the narrative of Pierrot the Clown, and the aesthetic of Kenneth Anger’s pioneering avant-garde, queer film Rabbit’s Moon, Tanoa Sasraku’s 2019 film O’ Pierrot explores the quest for British acceptance from a black British perspective. The opening night is 24 February (6-9pm) and an Artist Talk by Tanoa Sasraku will take place on Saturday 25 February, 3-5pm, hosted by Leicester Print Workshop.
