In The Art Newspaper article Building bridges post-Brexit: London Gallery Weekend to pay for European curators to attend third edition, Gareth Harris discusses the upcoming third edition of London Gallery Weekend (LGW), taking place this summer (2 June - 4 June).
Harris writes about the new galleries, including a quote from our gallery Director, Alex Vardaxoglou:
“Vardaxoglou Gallery in Soho is another newcomer. Alex Vardaxoglou tells The Art Newspaper "[LGW] is a great opportunity for a young gallery like mine to programme a significant exhibition that can reach a wider audience", it also "creates more public awareness for the dealers and galleries who are presenting good shows in London all year round."
For London Gallery Weekend, Vardaxoglou will present the first solo exhibition in London by Niamh O’Malley, who represented Ireland at the 59th Venice Biennale, 2022.
